heat tanking games for OJ MAYO

Makes you wonder how they ever defeated the Dallas Mavericks in the 2006 NBA finals.
I won't say that the Lakers got the better deal but it's not looking like a crazy trade anymore that's fore sure. The Lakers are in a much better position than the Heat are. Who knows where the Heat would be if they didn't have Shaq. They probably could have gotten some really good draft picks and if Wade was 100% they could be right up there now in the east. Trading for Shaq really was just a quick way to the finals. Unless Wade gets healthy, Shaq starts playing even as good as he was a few seasons ago and they get trade for another all-star player I don't see this team winning.
They really should look into trading Shaq to a team that wants to win right now (like Dallas or Phoenix).
Quote: I knew Shaq and Zo would decline, but so quickly?
Well Zo hasn't been "Zo" since well before he came back to the Heat. Sure, a few seasons ago he was a really good backup center. But he hasn't been an all-star player for many seasons now. Could you imagine if both Shaq and Zo were in their primes playing together? No team would have a chance. Forget the Celtics prime Shaq, Zo and Wade would be > Garnett, Pierce and Allen.
