Around the NBA

This 06'-07' NBA season is turning out to be a real conundrum. The Utah Jazz (which no one expected to do anything this season) has the best record in the league while teams that where expected to shine like the Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls are struggling. Sure it's only been a few weeks into the season and it's true that more then likely the standing will be much different when April comes around, but don't forget last season and the Clippers.
Last season the Clippers came out strong and everyone kept saying 'it's just a phase, they won't even make the playoffs.' Everyone song that same song until around mid to late February when they where still winning games. From the looks of it this season may come to an end with the Utah Jazz being the surprise team of the NBA. Now what about those Orlando Magic!
As a truly blue Magic fan, that last game that had against the Grizzlies was very frustrating to watch especially in the last 5 minute of the 4Th. Coach Brian Hill had said that the Magic were playing on 'borrowed time' when asked about the turnovers that has been haunting the Magic, well Monday night, that time was up. Even Dwight Howard's 24 points and 23 rebounds couldn't compensate for all the turnovers. The Magic lead the league in turnovers and if they can get a hold of it ASAP it will be very hard for them to hold on to the #1 spot of the Southeast conference.
Off the Dome thoughts:
The Lakers started the season without Kobe and still won games. Now that Kobe has returned, they can only get better.
Yao Ming is finally playing aggressive which is spelling good news for Jeff Van Gundy and the Rockets.
Atlanta Hawks Looking good.
Miami Heat needs an answer or a clue.
With the Spurs back to their old ways, do the Mavericks really have a chance?
Can we finally get to see an all LA round in the playoffs this year?
How long will it be before Isiah Thomas Cracks under the pressure?
