Chuck Norris creates the World Combat League

I was surfing through the cable channels late this Monday when I stumbled across the WCL on the Versus Network (Comcast). After a little investigating online it turns out that the World Combat League is a creation of the martial artist, film star, television star, and everyone's favorite "karate man" - Chuck Norris.
Since the its inauguration on October 8, 2005 the league pits teams of six, men and women, to fight each other using skills in Muay Thai, Karate, Kickboxing, Kung Fu, Tae Kwan Do, and Boxing around a large circular mat.
Apparently there are eight teams in the league consisting of the Oklahoma Destroyers, Texas Dragons, Houston Enforcers, Los Angeles Stars, New York Clash, Philadelphia Fire, Miami Force, and New England Strikers.
My favorite so far? The Miami Force of course. Scotty Mukaddam brings an aggressiveness and power that is fun to watch.
I became a fan at the first event I saw.
